49 - Rollerskates

Towards the end of last year, my friend Mon asked me to do some kind of excercise with her. I agreed, saying it was something I should be doing too.

We tried badminton. That was a snooze fest. Swimming was suggested, and quickly dismissed. As was basketball, tennis and squash.

So we went to the local roller disco, where I was dismayed to find that you could only rent roller skates, whereas I’m a rollerblader. Wont make much difference, right?

The bruises say otherwise.
